How to use the Price Book Database
2. Stock: try searching for a brand that you’re looking for, for example, Sterling Ultra, Options or Finch Opaque. You can also simply search by Text or Cover.
3. Grade: this one is simple and is mostly for those searching coated papers. Use the drop down menu to select Text & Cover, Coated or Translucent.
4. Color: many papers have strange color names, but we’ve simplified it for you. Just use this handy drop down menu.
5. Finish: this too has a drop down menu for your convenience. After all, we’re here to make everything as simple as possible and easy to understand. Don’t see the finish you’re looking for? Leave this field blank and the possibilities are endless.
6. Weight: One of the most important components of a project’s paper is its weight. Enter the weight you’re looking for, or enter a specific caliper for board stock. Please enter the weight with the pound sign, followed by text or cover. For example: 80# cover.
7. Need an FSC certified item? Select “Yes” to find all Forest Stewardship council certified products available from Clampitt Paper, the first Texas-based FSC certified paper merchant. For the most recent list of FSC products, please visit the Earth Friendly Paper section.
8. Post-Consumer Fiber: another crucial component for an environmentally friendly product is its post-consumer recycled content. Pick from one of these PCW percentages to find what fits your needs.
Remember, the more specific you are the more easily you’ll find the exact sheet you’re looking for. If you have any questions, feel free to call your local Clampitt Paper. Please keep in consideration that each division is different.
